Hey, I was banded on 12/23 and still get some sharp stabbing pains "under my lungs" and in my left shoulder.

I know that it could be from the gas still, but it's been almost 3 weeks, it this still common this long?

i don't think gas pains still going 3+ weeks is normal. Now with the way the weather has been around here, have you had a chance to walk much?

I would recommend you head out to a mall and just walk around inside it for as long as you can. Take breaks and rest when needed but the more you are up walking the faster the gas will be gone.

If you are still having problems, give the office a call and ask to talk to a nurse.

thanks! I haven't had any major pains since I posted that. I've been trying to walk more and even went and looked at treadmills today

Hopefully I can start losing this weight when after the 28th.
