hiccups 2 Years, 4 Months ago  
Is there a reason why I am having hiccups after I eat? Is that normal? Thanks for any advice anyone can give me....

I wouldn't say it is abnormal. I have heard of stranger things.

Is it every time after you eat or only certain times? Have you been banded a while and this is just starting?

I've been banded since 7/13/09 and have had 3 fills so far. It does happen every time after I eat. Could it be it's telling me I'm full? Thanks!

I haven't ever experienced hiccups as full but I have heard of stranger things.

Try slowing down and taking smaller bites as well. I know we used to get baby food forks and spoons to eat off of to help get the bite size correct. I never used them but using chopsticks helped.

If it keeps happening, I'd give a quick call to the Dr's office. I know they have had stranger questions than that so don't be bashful.

did anyone figure out the hiccup thing? I get them everytime I eat too and I was banded on 12/23/2009 and haven't had my first fill yet.
