I too was told that I would probably have a January date. Lisa also told me they were trying to get another date at Menorah - I have to go there due to insurance- for December and maybe I could get scheduled for that date IF they get an extra date. My authorization expires on 12-30 but she said it is really easy for them to get it extended. I am hoping for December but I am okay with january.. I guess maybe I started working on all of this back in March of 08 so I will be so glad to be able to move on after surgery to the "good" part.

Congrats on your surgery and I hope your recovery goes well. Do you mind if I ask you what kind of pre op testing you had to do? Just wondering as I hope to be doing them soon myself. Take care!

What goes on during Bandwagon meetings? Does Dr. Malley attend?

The bandwagon meetings are a support group of patients. Dr. Malley does not attend these meetings but someone from the staff is always there. It is a great place to ask anything and everything that is on your mind.

Sometimes they have speakers come in. They have had a plastic surgeon come speak, that was really cool. Come out and give it a try!
