I still drink soda, but my surgery was 4.5 months ago. I can't take a big drink/sip of soda at any time, but sometimes I just can't drink it beacause of the gas it traps in my stomach. Other times it doesn't bother me. I will say that I don't drink as much as I did pre-surgery, which or which may not help with me feeling better and my skin clearing up. Again, with anything it depends on the person, what they can tolerate and what they can't. Trial and Error are the best suggestion for anyone.
