Mix 93.3 Teresa's Video Blog

Teresa of Mix 93.3 FM has struggled with weight issues her entire life. Teresa is a stress eater and after her freshman year of college, weight became a serious problem. Within seven years, Teresa got married, lived in two different states, and had two children. Along with stress came her constant urge to eat and Teresa began to feel a loss of control. After years of struggling, she realized she must lose weight for her children's sake.

Q104 Winner Brenda Brown's Video Blog

Brenda Brown is a wife, mother and manager at Community Action Head Start in Topeka, Kan. At 320 lbs., she has battled obesity her entire life — literally. Her weight gain began as a toddler. She was enrolled in Weight Watchers by the first grade. She has gone through dozens of diets and weight-loss therapies, some successful and some not. Regardless, her hunger has always been one step ahead of her, keeping permanent weight loss always a step out of her reach.

Teresa's Success Story

Teresa was banded in February of 2008 as a 36-year-old wife and mother of two. She knows all too well the relationship between food and family and the pitfalls that come with gathering around the dinner table to celebrate practically any occasion. As a nurse practitioner, she also knows all too well the serious health risks that surround her obesity and metabolic disease.
